Rumors are surging with the possibility that the "House of Cards" Season 5 may have a new political leader and it could possibly be a woman. Prior to the previous season of "House of cards", it was seen that Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) was leading the Democrats in the presidential elections.
Avid viewers can remember that Frank was suffering liver failure because of the attempt on his life. Frank underwent a liver transplant and was asked to give-up his position because of his health condition and it remains uncertain in whether "House of Cards" Season 5 returns.

The producer is actually the one who initiated to bring the original British material to the American audience. The debut date for "House of Cards" season 5 air date has not been announced, but it is anticipated to broadcast sometime in 2017.
