After his monumental interview with Diane Sawyer over the weekend, Bruce Jenner, who admitted to his gender transition, had an immediate visitor in step-daughter Kim Kardashian West.
The reality TV star was reportedly seen at Jenner's Malibu digs the next day. A source told People Magazine that Kim went to visit Jenner to "see how he's doing." She also went to bring him lunch.
US Weekly further reported that Kim stayed in Jenner's place for almost an hour and half. She was all alone when she came to see the former Olympian.
In announcing that he has been transitioning into a woman, Jenner received an outpouring of support from his family. In fact, Kim posted the following on her Twitter account while Jenner's interview was being aired on television, ""Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter. Your honesty has opened the doors for others to be courageous and live an authentic life! #respect #hero #family."
Jenner said in the interview that among his children and step-children, it was Kim who has become the most supportive. According to Time Magazine, Kim's perception of Jenner's transition is largely thanks to her husband, Kanye West.
Kris Jenner's ex hubby shared to "20/20" that Kanye told Kim these words, which struck the reality TV star: "Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I'm nothing if I can't be me. If I can't be true to myself, they don't mean anything." Jenner stated that Kim has been "the easiest to talk about" his transition.
This is only the initial phase of what the public knows about Jenner's ordeal. However, E! will launch a documentary series in July charting the father of 10's new life as a transgender woman. "This series will present an unfiltered look as Bruce boldly steps into uncharted territory and is true to himself for the first time," says Jeff Olde, the executive vice president of programming and development of E!, via Entertainment Weekly.
Jenner's transition story will also be discussed in an upcoming episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." According to Buzzfeed, the May 31 airing is looking likely as the episode that will air Jenner's revelation to his family. It was taped back in January and it will be the concluding episode of the reality series for the season.
