Excitement is really in the air as the official cast reveal and season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 looms. As a matter of fact, many fans are going crazy speculating who will be on the list to vie for this season's mirrorball trophy but for a little consolation, a new promo image hinted some clues about who'll be participating in the upcoming season of ABC's hit dance reality competition show.
Spoilers and cast rumors about "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 definitely getting more interesting as ABC released the first look of the show through a new promo image. According to People, formal casting announcements have yet to be made but the poster hinted the potential participation of professional dancers and fan favorites Sharna Burgess and Artem Chigvintsev.
In addition, ABC's "Good Morning America" also made an exciting announcement last week about the official cast reveal date of "Dancing with the Stars" season 23. Based on the show's Twitter announcement, which was apparently deleted after five hours, the official cast reveal will happen on Aug. 30 on "Good Morning America," Inquisitr revealed.
Even though CarterMatt noted that ABC rarely alters the content of "Dancing with the Stars" posters for its upcoming seasons, which suggests the possibility that Burgess and Chigvintsev's participation may not be final, Burgess seemed to have confirmed her return on the "DWTS" dance floor on social media. In fact, she posted the official "DWTS" season 23 poster image on her Instagram account.
As for the new cast names, another Inquisitr report hinted that "General Hospital" alum Emma Samms may flaunt her dance moves on "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 dance floor. The rumor came after Samms tweeted of a "good news" that she can't share but what's really interesting about Samms' Twitter message was the fact that it was acknowledged by "DWTS" co-host Tom Bergeron.
Speaking of Bergeron, the 61-year-old "DWTS" presenter seemed to have hinted his comeback on "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 after he shared his excitement to welcome the new celebrities who'll be competing this season. International Business Times even noted that Bergeron even reminded fans to stay tuned as the grand cast reveal will happen in two weeks' time.
Meanwhile, previous Parent Herald reports about "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 have hinted the possible participation of Olympians Laurie Hernandez and Michael Phelps, as well as "Bachelorette" star JoJo Fletcher, "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member Teresa Giudice, "Bachelor" New Zealand Jordan Mauger and ESPN's "The Coach" co-host and former WWE talent Jonathan Coachman as part of the cast. It also noted the rumors about Pitbull and Shakira's role as judges of the upcoming series with Julianne Hough.
