"Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader enthusiasts are definitely excited to see what the first Lucasfilm standalone flick has to offer. While many anticipate Vader to unleash pure evil in "Rogue One," there are some fans who challenged this thought.
In a Reddit forum, user thisfits challenged the idea of most audiences about Darth Vader in "Star Wars Rogue One." The "Star Wars" one offered some valid concerns about Director Krennic and Darth Vader's "relationship" in the upcoming movie.
"There's a conflict being set up between Krennic-who thinks the future of the Empire is massive technological superiority-and Vader, who's unimpressed with technology and intends to rule by the Force," he claimed. "Director Krennic is trying to win the Emperor's favor over Vader. What if destroying Jedha is his way of symbolically and forcefully making a point that technology is the new future of the Empire?"
Thisfits further mentioned that there could be a possibility that Darth Vader will "rescue" the Rebels in "Star Wars Rogue One" after they were captured by Krennic and his Troopers after possessing the plans. This possibility could actually be Darth Vader's way of saying he is still in control.
Apart from the highly anticipated "Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader cameo, previous reports have already hinted the death of a notable character. The Independent previously noted that actor Jiang Wen hinted Donnie Yen's character's death in the movie.
"Star Wars Rogue One" is slated for a December 14, 2016 release date.
