Jamie Dornan is staying away from his fans as he has now deleted his Twitter and Instagram account. Unlike Dakota Johnson who is mostly active with her social media accounts, her "Fifty Shades Darker" partner wants to stop using his because of his wife Amelia Warner.
After finishing filming "Fifty Shades Darker" and Fifty Shades Freed," Jamie Dornan started focusing more on his wife who was reported to be suffering from postpartum. This led to his decision to close his existing Twitter and Instagram account in hopes that the talks would stop.
Since he is not mostly an active Instagram user, deleting his account did not need a lot of thinking although he needed to email his publicist to get his password. He was also not an active Twitter user and he said that he just used it twice last year.
"The more public interest in you, the more horrible people become," Jamie Dornan said. "People start to say disgusting things about your family, your children. What's the point?"
After getting massive attention from fans from his recent "Fifty Shades of Grey," the actor now seems could not handle fame he is receiving. News regarding his family and mostly his wife Amelia Warner seems to affect him even further.
Reports that his wife is mostly jealous of "Fifty Shades Darker" star Dakota Johnson has not died down although Johnson and Warner have been seen dining out together. They have also been photographed swimming together after the honeymoon shoot for "Fifty Shades Darker."
Before the actor permanently deleted his Twitter account, his publicist was the one sharing Jamie Dornan's life and updates on "Fifty Shades Darker." His publicist posted images and updates regarding Jamie Dornan's latest movies and his time in the golf course.
This may also have triggered Jamie Dornan's decision to cut ties with his fans as he has received rather bad insults from them. Jamie Dornan may have had his priorities right as family is mostly important but of course, we can't blame his "Fifty Shades Darker" fans to know more about his life and Dakota Johnson since they are still considered a great love item.
Expect to see Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson on February 2017 at the official release of "Fifty Shades Darker."
