Is 'American Horror Story' Ending? Trailer For Season 6 Connects All Past Five Installments [VIDEO]

Not much is known about "American Horror Story" Season 6 but when a trailer was released for the latest installment, many were able to realize that the past seasons and the upcoming season are all connected.

Some scenes were taken from the past seasons and towards the end of the trailers, a demonic insect-man-like was seen walking too fast on the train tracks, a scalp suturing, a woman screaming as something in the lake grabs her, and a person possibly being exorcised. Many more images were seen before the number 6 was shown depicting the latest installment for "American Horror Story."

The 30-second video basically showed what the past seasons were about. For season 1, it involves the rubber man from "American Horror Story" Season 1. It then jumps to the white man whose eyes were taken out to show season 2 then three women were seen having a snake pass through their mouths to show season 3. As for season 4, a huge woman seemingly on top of a circus tent was shown and the trailer lastly showed "American Horror Story" season 5's iconic key, which was the latest installment for the series, Entertainment Weekly reported.

It remains unclear, however, what exactly is "American Horror Story" Season 6 about since many things were shown towards the end of the trailer. In the past weeks, "American Horror Story" released teasers and the last photo reads: "Murder. Madness. Magic. Misfits. Mayhem... Mystery?"

Bustle reported that since "American Horror Story" creator Ryan Murphy said that all the seasons are connected, viewers have been thinking about what season 6 will show. One of the most popular theories about "American Horror Story" Season 6 is that it might serve as a sequel to season 1's "Murder House" and it could center on the older version of Michael, best known as the Antichrist. Murphy also recently shared that "American Horror Story" Season 6 would involve children and in the teaser trailer, children were seen.

Many are also wondering if "American Horror Story" Season 6 is the last of its kind since it is the most mysterious season out of all the installments. Also, the grand promotion for the upcoming installment might mean that more plots will be introduced.

"American Horror Story" Season 6 is set to return on the TV screens by September 14.
