Not Ready To Spend Money For 'No Man's Sky'? Five Alternatives For Game; 'No Man's Sky' PC, PS4 Patch Now Available

Not everyone love "No Man's Sky" so for those who are not willing to spend $60 for the game, they should consider the five other alternative games that one could play without spending so much or none at all. However, for those who love "No Man's Sky," the PC and PS4 patches are also now available for download.

As for the PC and PS4 patches, IGN reported that the PC patch adds support for more hardware while the PS4 patch improves the stability and more.

For the alternatives of "No Man's Sky," players know that it is basically an exploration of the space via the game and alien landscapes will be discovered throughout the game. Although "No Man's Sky" is considered by many as the top of the line game among all the others that have the same nature, Kill Screen suggested other games that one could play. Some of these alternative games are free or could go as expensive as $9.99.

The first game that the publication suggested is "Even the Stars," which is basically wandering through the space without a purpose. A player is given a spaceship and ancient artifacts or bustling cities could be discovered in the game.

Another game that is an alternative is "My Cartographer." It is a space exploration game and has colorful landscapes. A machine will be used by the player and will get to explore the area using the machine. It is considered like a treasure hunt as there are items of interest one needs to find.

The third game is "Norman's Sky." The game's name was made as such in order to purposefully pattern it from "No Man's Sky." This is the game closest to "No Man's Sky" as players have to ability to fly to and to land on any planet. There is not much activity when one lands but the sole purpose of the game is to hop from one planet to another.

The fourth game is "Elite" that could be a substitute for "No Man's Sky." The game is made out of vector art so it is very old school since it was released back in 1985. It is one of the biggest video games in the past that has influenced the games now. "Elite" makes players gather as much credits via bounty hunting, mining asteroids, and many more. With the credits, players can upgrade their ship in order to travel to new galaxies.

Lastly, the game "Out There" could also be an alternative for "No Man's Sky." It focuses on survival as players travel through space.
