Fan favorite Tristan Rogers is coming back to "General Hospital." The actor will be on-screen beginning next week and has revealed that he will be involved in three storylines.
Tristan Rogers is bringing back Robert Scorpio back in Port Charles. While the 70-year-old actor will only be in for a short gig in "General Hospital," his presence promises to bring impact on the storylines. In an interview with ABC Soaps In Depth, Rogers has decided to divulge nothing about what brings Scorpio back to the scene other than he is going to be part of three distinct stories. What could these story arcs be?
Celebrity Dirty Laundry bets on some of the recent "General Hospital" storylines where Robert Scorpio could fit. For one, Robert Scorpio may be involved in solving the case of the serial killer. Recent rumors have been pointing on Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) as the serial killer, and since Robert is affiliated with him through the WSB, he may be brought in to do the investigation.
Elsewhere in GH, Julian Jerome (William deVry) is planning to escape. Should he succeed in his attempts, Robert Scorpio would be brought in to help track him down and spare Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) from having more heartaches because of him.
Tristan Rogers will be back beginning Friday, Aug. 26. It has not been revealed how long the actor will be seen on "General Hospital," but it is assumed he will be in and out for a while. Rogers is also returning to "The Young and the Restless" and may appear in both soap operas at the same time. He also appeared in "The Bold and the Beautiful" back in 1997 and in other TV series such as "The Bay" and "Fast Track."
"General Hospital" airs from Monday to Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
