'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2': Will Open Beta Let Fans Get First Look At Conton City? More Information About Expert Mission Released?

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will now be having an open beta, a new playable character, and more information about the Expert Mission mode. All of these will be released ahead of the October official release of the game.

According to the announcement made by Bandai Namco, they said that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" that aside from the open beta coming to the much-anticipated game, Majin Vegeta will now be a playable character. The open beta for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is said to let players have a chance to explore for themselves what are the features that were changed since the first installment of the franchise, which is "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" released in 2015.

Although not many details were given regarding the open beta for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Game Rant suggested that it might allow fans to see for the first time a look at Conton City. The new game hub for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is said to be seven times larger than the first installment of the game.

International Business Times reported that players could also explore shops and trains as well as quests via the open beta. It remains unclear when it will be launched.

The major opponent for the Expert Mission mode has also been revealed, which are Great Apes. These are the ultimately transformed version of Saiyans if exposed to a full moon. They will only be fought during the multiplayer mode as single players will not be able to handle them alone.

As for the playable character Majin Vegeta, he came to life after evil wizard Babidi increased the Saiyan's power level through harnessing the evil in his heart. Majin Vegeta is the rival of Goku. He is also reportedly stronger and faster than Vegeta.

More information about the Expert Mission mode has also been released. The Expert Mission Mode will allow six players grouping together to fight giant Great Apes.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be out this October 25 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
