'Resident Evil 7' Latest News, Release Date & Updates: Terrifying New Gameplay Revealed; Scariest Resident Evil Game?

Capcom will be releasing the "Resident Evil 7", this will be 28th Resident Evil game. "Resident Evil 7" is also the first game that players will not control a certain Resident Evil character.

"Resident Evil 7" was first introduced during the E3 held last June at the L.A. Convention Center. "Resident Evil 7" won't be the traditional Resident Evil gameplay that players used to know. The Gun-Fest style was removed in RE7 due to a new touch wherein players will play as a civilian with no combat background or any type of fighting skills.

The RE7 will feature the events after the RE6 and is set to present a brand new cast of characters. "Resident Evil 7" also brought back some its famed game mechanics such as puzzle-solving and the immortal healing herb.

IGN reported the "Resident Evil 7" will be more of a horror game than being a zombie-killing action packed type. With the initial demo, it is noticeable the changes compared to the previous series. A more horror feel, scary atmosphere with some mind boggling environment. Gamespot said, producer Masachika Kawata mentioned that the upcoming RE7 will have the expected features such as gun fight and melee combat, but with "Resident Evil 7" is focusing more on survival gameplay.

"Resident Evil 7" Trailer was unveiled during the E3 and it shows the fascinating yet scary gameplay. "Resident Evil 7" will be also be presented by Sony's Playstation VR as the top carrier game of their new Playstation VR headset.

"Resident Evil 7" Biohazard as its full title, it is set to launch on January 24th next year on Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. "Resident Evil 7" Biohazard Pre-Order is now live and can be bought either Standard or Deluxe.
