Brooklyn Decker & Husband Andy Roddick Announce Pregnancy; Baby Due This Fall

Tennis champ, Andy Roddick, is over the moon regarding the news of him becoming a father. New York Daily News reported that the athlete and his model-actress wife, Brooklyn Decker, are expecting their first child. The baby's birth is due thing coming fall.

Decker told the world about her pregnancy via an Instagram photo with a caption, "So this happened... #the3ofus."

He held his wife's baby bump, smiling with her mouth wide open in the photo. Decker's rep, Jesse Parker Stowell, released a statement, saying, "I'm happy to confirm Brooklyn and Andy are expecting a new addition to their family in the autumn of this year."

Decker and Roddick got married six years ago at the Texas home they shared.

"I love kids. I definitely want kids," Decker said last month, according to The Inquisitr. "I just have to figure out the timing of that."

Daily Mail revealed Decker has not been shy in expressing her fondness for kids. She told People magazine, '"It is great getting to be Aunt Brooklyn and play with my friends' kids."

"Majandra had just had a baby when we started filming and she would have her daughter with her and was dealing with breastfeeding her son."

Majandra Delfino is Decker's friend and co-star in the sitcom "Friends with Better Lives."

Aside from her modeling gigs, Decker also stars in the comedy series, "Grace and Frankie". The series premieres on Netflix on May 8. The 28-year-old star's husband will host the annual "Andy Roddick Foundation" event on Monday night, according to The Inquisitr. Roddick's close friend, Elton John, is set to perform on the said event.

Roddick, 32, retired from his professional tennis career in 2012. To date, Roddick is the most recent American male tennis player to triumph in a singles event Grand Slam. He is also the last player to earn the title of both the world No. 1, and end of the year world No. 1 in 2003.

E! Online reported that in an interview with Glamour magazine, Decker revealed she supports her former athlete husband 100 percent. "Is it cliched to say, 'You just know?' You just do. I think it's someone who is a good teammate," she said.

"You can have someone that you love, someone that you are super passionate about, and someone that is your perfect match, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are a good teammate. Having someone to go to bat for you and with you is the biggest thing."
