'Iron Man 4' News: Iron Man's Replacement Officially Named; Learn How Marvel Address The Superhero Riri Williams,Definitely Not Iron Woman!

"Iron Man" fans are still hoping to see Robert Downey Jr. again in "Iron Man 4." However, according to reports, Marvel has already decided to replace the aging actor. Since introducing a young male Iron Man is impossible without being compared to Downey Jr., Marvel made a risky move by introducing a female Iron Man to replace the genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist superhero Tony Stark a.k.a "Iron Man."

Previous reports suggest that Tony Stark will be replaced by Riri Williams. Parent Herald previously reported that Marvel has finally decided to kill Tony Stark to give to their new character, Riri Williams. A much younger superhero, who will have more years ahead to play the character.

However, no matter what Marvel do, "Iron Man" fans can't move on from Robert Downey Jr. playing the role. For most, there is no other "Iron Man" than Downy Jr. So, what Marvel did? They introduce a female Iron Man, at least in this way, fans can't compare the new superhero to Robert Downey Jr.'s brilliance because a male and a female Iron Man are completely two different characters.

We've been waiting for quite a while how Marvel would address Riri Williams. If they called Tony Stark "Iron Man" is Williams the "Iron Woman?" Well, while that may sound likely, it is not the case.

According to Express, when Riri Williams don the Iron Man suit, she will be called "Ironheart." Brian Michael Bendis, the scribe behind the comic book reveals the reason why they call Williams this way.

According to him, calling Riri Williams "Iron Woman" sound old fashioned and calling her "Iron Maiden" sounds like a legal nightmare. So, they decided to call her "Ironheart."

The name was coined by Joe Quesada, Marvel Entertainment Chief Executive Officer. They find this name appropriate for the next Iron Man superhero because initially, Tony Stark decided to don his Iron Man armor to save his heart. Riri Williams will also be wearing the Iron Man suit for another reason but still related to the heart.

"Iron Man" fans might still see Robert Downey Jr. in "Iron Man 4" for the last time. The actor said that he is willing to do one more "Iron Man" film. However, "Iron Man 4" will not be ready until 2020.

Will Riri Williams be as successful as Tony Stark? Does making Riri Williams a black female superhero save her from Robert Downey Jr.'s shadow? Will you support the "Ironheart" as "Iron Man's" replacement? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
