"Astro Boy: Edge of Time" is based on the work of Osamu Tezuka, dubbed as the grandfather of manga. The game could be played via mobile or PC, Mac, and Linux. However, there have been no details released about a console version. "Astro Boy: Edge of Time" aims to celebrate the work of Tezuka and his son Makoto, The Bitbag reported.

Eight districts will be formed by the newly established government in an attempt to protect the residents. Everything has gone well but demon king Goa will invade The Sprawl and interrupt the peace that reigns in the area.

Astro Boy and the other heroes will be working together to protect the people in The Sprawl. The ones who will help them win their battle against demon king Goa in "Astro Boy: Edge of Time" will be the players who will be called summoners. They will be able to use cards to manifest hard light and create armies.

There are also some notable information about "Astro Boy: Edge of Time" as per the statement of the creators of the game. One is that players will see reimagined characters. This means that the famous characters created by Tezuka will be seen in a new light as the most talented illustrators in Japan have made fresh new designs.
