While "Frozen 2" has already been green lit, fans remain to be in the dark as to what they can expect in the sequel. Almost everyone from the first movie is guaranteed to return, but no one really knows for sure what lies ahead for Anna, Elsa and the rest of Arendelle.
It was previously teased that the sisters will once again have a show-stopping duet in "Frozen 2." Plot, cast and release date updates suggest that there will be a new song that will be at par or even surpass "Let it Go's" success. Tim Robey of Telegraph previously mentioned that the new duet could actually highlight the sisters' relationship after the events of "Frozen."
Other rumors looming on the internet seem to suggest a lesbian Elsa in "Frozen 2." To add more fuel to the fire, some fans mistook Idina Menzel's previous statement about her character, and used it as a basis for the icy queen's character development in the sequel.
Menzel previously mentioned that should Disney decide to have lesbian Elsa, that would be great. She then continued to say that no matter what the House of Mouse decides upon, she still considers "Frozen" and "Frozen 2" as big leaps in her career, Chattsportsnet reported.
Meanwhile, other "Frozen 2" plot, cast and release date updates revealed that an ending for the sequel is already in place this early. Not only should audiences expect an epic ending, but the whole sequel will reportedly make fans feel a lot of things.
In a previous interview, directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have both decided to take audiences on a ride of emotions. Buck claimed that he and Lee consider their work very important, so they are working extra hard to give fans a sequel they deserve.
"Frozen 2" is rumored to be slated for a 2018 release date.
