"Baby Daddy" is definitely coming back. Although Freeform has not updated its fans when it would be exactly but most are assuming that "Baby Daddy" Season 6 will be back on 2017.
"Baby Daddy" is Freeform's top comedy show with around 1.2 million total viewers. And with its massive audience, there is no denying that we will be able to watch the whole gang again.
According to "Baby Daddy" showrunner Dan Berendsen, the show will have a bit of a time jump from its final episode of "Baby Daddy" Season 5. "We normally come back on a big cliffhanger, but I think there will be a little bit of a time jump here," Berendsen said.
The showrunner also revealed that the time jump is not that long and not big. The time jump though is not just a day.
In the Season 5 finale, titled "Condom Conundrum, Danny freaked out when Riley announced that she is pregnant. Although it was just a false alarm, Danny said that she would take responsibility for what happened even though Danny is clearly not ready to be a father.
For "Baby Daddy" Season 6, fans are expecting more revelations to this mystery girl, Ben kept on running the whole day. However, Berendsen explained why the finale introduced a girl and why it was turning into becoming more similar to "How I Met Your Mother." "Baby Daddy" was shot before the renewal for Season 6.
Since it was not clear at that time if Freeform would still continue "Baby Daddy's" season 6, Berendsen wanted to create a finale that would tell the audience that Ben and Emma will be alright, Release Date announced.
"You saw them drive off together, which was a way to end the show with the audience knowing that Emma and Bend would be OK," Berendsen said. The mystery girl Elle will play an important role for "Baby Dady" Season 6 and we will definitely see her again as Ben may want to have a little quest.
While freeform still has not announced the official release date of "Baby Daddy" Season 6, it is safe to know that the cast is already in production and that the show will be back on 2017.
