Since Josh Duggar has gone out of the faith-based rehab, updates about he and Anna Duggar have been doing have been rare. Speculations emerged that Anna has been snubbed in the new season of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" as she was not seen in any of the promo clips. But when the show premiered last week, Anna apparently made an appearance.
Anna Duggar gave an update about her marriage with Josh, saying that she has a lot of hopes and faith that it will be saved. She said, "[As] I see Josh taking steps to do what's right, it brings a lot of joy and helps heal the pain that we walked through." She added, "We are just taking it one day at a time, and working on strengthening our relationship as a couple and with our children."
Josh Duggar had brought the Duggar family down in May last year after he admitted to molesting children as a teen, including two of his sisters. To add to that, he also got involved in the Ashley Madison scandal and admitted to cheating on his wife Anna. This led to the cancellation of his family's reality show "19 Kids and Counting." He also checked into a rehabilitation center.
At the height of the issue, Anna Duggar went to live with her parents. Many people have advised and speculated about the two getting a divorce after all that have happened. But Anna has shown strength and chose to stick around. Anna shared that since Josh been out of rehab, they are working with a professional marriage counselor. And while it is a difficult journey towards rebuilding trust and a healthy marriage, she said that the past few months have gone well for them.
"Jill and Jessa: Counting On" Season 2 airs every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on TLC.
