Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald are expecting baby number two, the family has recently announced. But she is no longer a newbie in the mommy department, and recently shared her top three must-haves in every mom's diaper bag.
With baby Spurgeon now 9 months, Jessa Duggar has gained knowledge about baby care and shared with Us Weekly three things she always have in her diaper bag. Number one in her list is a baby blanket. It has to be a lightweight material so it should not make your bag bulky. Being an absorbent one will also be useful as it can serve as burp blanket too.
Jessa Duggar also packs a baby carrier. She uses a wrap type, which she can easily wear to slip Spurgeon on when she needs to use both of her hands. There are different types of baby carrier that you can choose from depending on your needs, but a cloth one would be easier to stash in your bag.
Lastly, Jessa Duggar also ensures she brings a toy and a book whenever they travel with their baby. Jessa shared that Spurgeon's favorite toy is a stuffed giraffe whose antlers he loves to chew on. A hard book also helps keep the baby entertained whenever they are out, so she makes sure she has one in the bag.
Meanwhile, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" has returned for its second season on TLC. This season, Jessa goes on baby-proofing their home as Spurgeon is starting to learn how to walk. In the first episode, she went shopping with her sister-in-law Anna. Jessa shared she respects Anna's positive parenting style, and as she has been doing parenting stuff for seven years, Jessa looks up to her for some help and advice.
"Jill and Jessa: Counting On" airs every Tuesday on TLC at 7:30 p.m.
