Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson made an acting milestone as he topped Forbes' list of the World's highest-paid actors. The Rock is also named as the most successful wrestler to make a crossover from WWE to acting.
Fans were able to smell what "The Rock" is cooking as he managed to make it big in terms of his acting career. The "Fast and the Furious 8" actor managed to climb his was to the top of Forbes list. Dwayne Johnson banked a huge amount on $64.5 million from June 2015 to June 2016. This being said, "The Rock" is now on top of Forbes list of the World's Highest Paid actors.
It was mentioned that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson managed to surpass Robert Downey Jr., eh only managed to bank $33 million. Forbes named the top three highest paid actors on their twitter list which placed Matt Damon who earned $55 million on third, Jackie Chan who managed to bank $61 million on second and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who cashed in $64.5 million, which earned him the top spot.
Though "The Rock" may already be on top, based on his upcoming projects, he might stay in the first spot for quite some time. His top spot still does not include his upcoming film projects such as "Fast and Furious 8," "Baywatch," and Central Intelligence.
Staying on top does have its downfall as "The Rock" was previously caught in a tight battle after posting lengthy rant involving on his "Fast 8" co-star. Parent Herald previously reports that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson managed to throw a shade drawing speculations that he might be throwing shots as the show's producer, Vin Diesel.
After "The Rock's" lengthy rant, the actor managed to patch things u and work things out with his workmates. He then posted an Instagram photo describing the rest of his co-stars as a family.
