Apple is caught in a demand and supply dilemma prior to iPhone 7 release date. A week before the official release date, iPhone 7 is already sold out giving Apple a glimpse of a bright future.
Apple seems to have it as a tradition that they would always have a supply shortage prior to their upcoming gadget release. It was recently announced that Apple is already caught with a supply scarcity dilemma a week before the most awaited iPhone 7.
"If Apple sticks to its launch schedule from last year, there may not be enough supply at the beginning, as some suppliers are still trying to fix low yield rates of their components," an industry source told Nikkei.
To make things even more precise, Jeff Pu, Yuanta Investment Consulting analyst mentioned that the supply shortage would be worst that what Apple experienced with iPhone 6, Pu noted that for iPhone 7, the company would fall short of more or less 10 million iPhones.
As of the latest update, it was already announced that the launch invitation was already sent. Despite the iPhone 7 supply shortage, consumers are still thrilled to get daily updates in regards to iPhone's release.
Mirror dished out a few details in regards to the smart phone's launch party. It was announced that the event would take place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The gathering would be at 10 am local time, on September 7, Wednesday.
The invitation sparked speculations that Apple could possibly release colorful handsets as the invitation with the tagline "See you on the 7th" was adorned by translucent colored bubbles. What sparked the consumers' interest however that the latest iPhone would have a waterproof feature, which could be likened to Samsung's Galaxy Note 7, which was released earlier this month.
