Butch Hartman Teases Fans With Brand New 'Danny Phantom' Show Set 10 Years From Now

Butch Hartman, the brilliant mind behind some of the best cartoon shows today, has teased fans with a brand new "Danny Phantom" cartoon. The acclaimed animator has recently posted a video on his YouTube account of himself, drawing new concepts of the Danny Phantom characters on how they would look like 10 years from now.

The man behind some the most beloved animated shows such as Nickelodeon's "Fairly Odd Parents" and "T.U.F.F. Puppy", Butch Hartman, has given fans of his shows something to be very excited about. In the YouTube video he posted, Hartman showed what he thought the main cast of "Danny Phantom" would like 10 years in the future. Hartman drew up concept art of Danny Fenton and his two best friends, Tucker Foley and Sam Manson.

The 8-minute clip showed Hartman drawing up older and more mature versions of the "Danny Phantom" trio, starting off with Tucker, who Hartman portrayed as a technology genius in the future. He sported Tucker with a fresh haircut (dreadlocks to be exact), and plenty of high-tech gear to help Danny battle ghosts. One of his notable gadgets is the drone that allows him to fly alongside Danny and provide air cover.

Meanwhile Sam, who Hartman pictured out as the "Black Widow" to Danny Phantom's "Captain America," with Hartman putting on a sleek wardrobe for Sam, while still maintaining her goth persona. In Hartman's older version of Sam, he has her wielding a weapon for each hand, which she uses to blast ghosts with.

And as for Danny himself, Hartman imagined him to take on the full responsibilities of being a hero. His previously simple black and grey outfit is now upgraded to a full "Danny Phantom" armored battle suit. Over the years, according to Hartman, Danny has accepted his ghost side a lot more, which reflects to his now long unkept grey hair.

While all of this sounds exciting, there is still no confirmation of the return of "Danny Phantom" any time soon. Despite only having three seasons, the show still has a very loyal fanbase, that is very eager for a reboot, according to Digital Spy.
