"Stranger Things" took the ratings by storm as fans were left at the edge of their seats when the first season ended. For "Stranger Things" season 2 on the other hand, major changes will be made, that can possible result to one of the well-loved character's death.
During an interview with IGN, the "Stranger Things" creator, Matt Duffer announced that there would be drastically changed for the series' season 2. Duffer noted that one of the factors that affected the story-line was Gaten Matarazzo's voice which significantly dropped. Gaten is loved by many for his role as Dustin, thus having to change his voice would greatly affect his role.
Matt Duffer also noted that they would need to work on the next season as soon as possible. He noted the kids would be a year older if they would skip a year as originally planned for the series' follow-up. Drastic changed will be made for the next season, thus fans would need to stay tuned for updates.
One of the biggest questions being asked however is Eleven's (Millie Brown) whereabouts. Fans are eager to know if she would be able to make it to "Stranger Things" season 2 as the first season's finale revealed that she may be dead after battling a monster.
Matt Duffer, however, hinted that there's something big in stored for her character. Duffer then added that they have something in store for her, and Hopper.
"Obviously, something happened to [Eleven] when she destroyed and killed that monster and we don't know where she went. But we like the idea of potentially putting her and Hopper together."
Fans can now rejoice as it has already been confirmed that "Stranger Things" season two will hit the screens. There are no specific updates yet as to when the premiere would be, but several spoilers have already been released.
