The cast of "Teen Mom 2" may just get bigger as Corey Simms and his second wife, Miranda Patterson, are reportedly expecting their first baby together. The news was revealed by In Touch Weekly, which quoted a source close to the couple.
"They're so excited. It's a dream come true. They'd been trying to get pregnant for a long time," the source said. While Corey and Miranda haven't officially made any confirmation, it looks like the news bears some truth as Miranda's sister posted, "Were in such a baby boom recently. #everyoneispregnant," on her Twitter account right after the story broke.
According to OK! Magazine, there's plenty more reason to suspect that this baby news is true. For one, Miranda has been trying to hide her belly in her more recent photos. Corey also said that he would like to enjoy life with his wife as newly-weds. The couple were married back in 2013 and the timing could be right this time around.
Miranda has had some practice being a "mother" as well since Corey has his twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah, with his first wife Leah Calvert. The relationship with the exes hasn't been a bed of roses though. After coming up with a custody agreement, Miranda gets to impart her mothering skills on the twins when Corey gets the kids three nights a week.
Corey and Leah were married in 2010, but following a cheating scandal involving the guy, the pair divorced in 2011. Soon afterwards, Corey started dating Miranda and the two got married a couple of years after. Leah blasted their marriage on social media.
"All I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what the post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and that's all I'm going to say," Leah said in a report from Radar Online. Meanwhile, she had a rocky second marriage with Jeremy Calvert. The couple are already divorced, following Jeremy's accusation that Leah cheated on him.
The OK! feature also said that Corey has been wanting to have a baby boy, if he does become a father again, while Miranda is wants a girl.
The whole story of Corey and Miranda's upcoming baby news will be tackled in "Teen Mom 2" when the show returns on MTV this July.
