Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson are reportedly trying to have another baby, says a report from Life & Style. However, the reason behind this isn't something to be happy about because the source revealed to the news outlet that Jessica is only agreeing to have a third child to save her failing marriage.
The couple, who are already blessed with two adorable children - a daughter named Maxwell and a son named Ace, are reportedly fighting a lot these days and it's all because Jessica allegedly developed an addiction to dieting. Her penchant for ingesting stimulants like Adderall has had Eric growing concerned, as reported on OK! Magazine.
Other than being worried for his wife's health, he's also concerned that she's becoming erratic lately. One time, when Jessica had a television interview, she appeared to be drunk and behaved disturbingly that it did not go unnoticed with her fans.
The OK! Magazine story also alludes that Eric asked his wife to get into rehab, or else he's taking the kids with him. "He's worried sick that Jess' conduct is going to start affecting their two children and that their oldest is starting to realize there's 'something wrong with Mommy!'" revealed the source to the news outlet.
Married last July 2014, but together for a few years before that, the couple may be facing a "billion-dollar" divorce, should it happen, according to Radar. With rehab still unclear and unverified, going the baby route is allegedly what Jessica thinks will appease her husband and save the marriage. "He's been wanting another baby badly. Jessica's giving in, hoping one more baby will save their marriage, I wouldn't be surprised if they're already trying!" said an unnamed source in the Life & Style report.
However, Gossip Cop called out the story on Life & Style, saying that everything is completely false. The news outlet claims that there is nothing new about the story on Jessica and Eric but confirms that these are two separate rumors that the tabloid news seemed to have mashed up.
Gossip Cop goes on to point out that Jessica has spoken about being "done" with having children in an interview with Ryan Seacrest in September of last year. It is a conscious choice between her and her husband. A friend of the singer, according to Gossip Cop, also called the Life & Style story "not true."
