It looks like baby James is daddy's little girl. The 5-month old daughter of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively was seen bonding with dad by doing thumb wrestling, according to People.
Reynolds shared a picture of his little girl on Instagram, toughing it out with dad using her thumb. On Thursday, the actor captioned the photo with the message, "Thumb wrestling isn't always fair. Curiously, my hand is the small one."
According to OK! Magazine, Lively shared the same photo on her social media account. She captioned, "And with that, my husband @vancityreynolds joins Insta."
Reynolds and Lively have always kept things about their daughter private. In fact, Reynolds just revealed the little girl's name in March, three months after she was born.
In an interview with Today two months ago, Reynolds said, "I didn't want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media." He added, "Because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, 'Why did you do that?'"
Meanwhile, according to US Magazine, Blake said in an interview with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan that James " looks like her daddy." The actress teased, "I want a maternity test! If not, I'm not sure about this kid. She never left our sight, but..."
As for the reason for naming their daughter with a boy's name? "It's a family name," the actress revealed to Kelly and Michael. "And I liked having a boy's name, so I thought I'd pass it on."
Blake shared her insights about motherhood, as she marveled at being a mom for the first time. "You never know when you're gonna get crapped on or when you're gonna get a big smile or when that smile immediately turns into hysterics," she said. "It might be like living with a drug addict. But you have a baby and you think, 'I can't imagine ever not having a baby,' because they grow up so quickly. I'd be an 80-year-old woman with a baby if I could."
Blake is famous for giving baby James a healthy diet, even when the little girl has yet to turn a year old. "You have to give her a well-balanced palate from a young age. You can't be around me and not be exposed to all different cuisines," Blake shared, according to Mirror UK.
