The Duggars News: Family Will Exit The Small Screens Soon? Money Issues At Bay As Advertisers Continue To Abandon 'Counting On'

Fans of the popular reality family, the Duggars are very happy that the controversial family is back in "Jill & Jessa: Counting On". Their reality show "19 Kids and Counting" is the longest running show on TLC and it was canceled untimely due to Josh Duggar's molestation scandal.

This time that the Duggars are back, is this for good? New rumors suggest that the family's comeback is short lived.

According to InTouch Weekly, the advertisers of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" are slowly abandoning the reality show. If this continues, TLC's next move is to cancel the "19 Kids and Counting" spinoff. If this happens, the Duggars might be bidding goodbye to the small screens for good because most advertisers don't want to be associated with them.

Per the report, over a dozen of advertisers who made a large buy on cable television balked when they learn that their ads are run during the first season of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." TLC renewed the "19 Kids and Counting" spinoff and another group of advertisers reacted the same.

Gerber Life, Trivago, Thumbtack.com and Hotwire were not pleased that TLC run their ads on the air time of "Counting On." Hotwire announced that they can't select the specific shows when their ads will be shown. Thus, decided to remove the network on their plan.

The Duggar's reality show is a huge financial resource for the family. In fact, when "19 Kids and Counting" was canceled, a brand expert suggested that losing the show, royalties and sponsorships could cost the family $25 million or more a year.

If TLC decides to finally remove the Duggars on their network, this could mean a financial trouble to the family. Jessa Duggar is expecting her second child. Meanwhile, Jinger Duggar is prepping for her wedding day.

Will TLC eventually cancel "Jill & Jessa: Counting On?" Will the network push the reality show up to the third season to air Jinger's wedding? What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
