Taylor Swift is famously known for her charm and kindness both to her friends and fans. Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, the Haim sisters and Cara Delevigne are some of the Hollywood celebs that make up the best-selling singer's circle of famous girlfriends.
However, it appears that nobody else finds the country-turned-pop singer more endearing than actress Jaime King. Swift's pregnant BFF announced on Instagram that Swift would be her unborn baby's godmother, according to People. "The Hart of Dixie" actress reportedly made the announcement in March.
King is pregnant with her second child with hubby, Kyle Newman. "You know it doesn't matter where you come from or who you are or what you do," she told People. "For me, choosing a godparent is a very sacred experience," she added.
The actress gushed that her singer pal would make an excellent godmother to her unborn child. King explained, "It wasn't because of it was this person and the name, it was really because of her morals and her values and the way that treats people and how hard-working she is and her family and how close she is to them. I see what she gives out there to her fans and to her family and that's the kind of person I want to be the guide and the spiritual protector of my child."
As reported in Music-News.com, King described the singer fondly as a "beautiful person." The actress described Swift as an inspiration and guide whom her child can look up to while growing up. King is already a mom to 19-month old son, James Knight.
Swift recently gave multiple performances in her "1989 World Tour." Despite her hectic schedule, the musician still took time to shower her expecting friend with love. The "Blank Space" singer's sincere gesture towards King moved the actress in every way possible.
"I was having my doctor check-up the other night and she [Swift] came to visit and the baby was kicking for her," the actress shared. "It was so exciting and fun and sweet. She's just fantastic," she said.
King attended the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's 2nd Annual Super Saturday event in Los Angeles. FIJI Water sponsored the event. The actress sees the research fund as a perfect event where the family can bond together for a good cause, as reported in Extra TV.
