Do you think Jennifer Garner already has her hands full as wife to an in-demand Hollywood actor and mother of three? Not quite so. The actress, who still has a string of movie commitments to fill, even found the time to partner with specialty retailer, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, to launch her own line of children's craft. Called the "We Made It" line, the creative kits will begin selling exclusively at the craft store by June, as stated in its press release.
The kits are geared towards children between the ages of 4 and 11 but it can be enjoyed by everyone in the family. There are over 100 creative projects to choose from and these are divided into four different categories: Grow, Memorable, Playful and Sweet.
Grow kits promote exploration and observation and comes with bird feeder and foraging basket projects.
Memorable kits include treasure boxes and family portrait projects, which will encourage children to forge lasting memories.
Playful kits has projects that promote self-expression and is packed with costumes and playsets.
Sweet kits hone the kids' math abilities through various baking projects.
The launch of Jennifer's line will be marked by a $75,000 donation from Jo Ann Fabric to the charity organization the actress supports. Jennifer is an ambassador and a trustee of "Save The Children," which is geared towards strengthening early education among America's children.
"As a mom and children's advocate, I believe it's very important we encourage children to express themselves and explore their imaginations," said Garner in the press release.
"The We Made It line makes it easy and fun for families to form lasting memories together while developing their children's creativity and intellectual abilities. I am excited to share We Made It with families and have a portion of the proceeds benefit Save the Children, a charity that is so important to me," she added.
Jennifer, who has three kids with Ben Affleck, namely, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, has surely picked a venture close to her heart. She is, after all, quite the hands-on mother. "I cook for my kids, and we have a garden. We try to grow whatever we can, although I can't say we have the hugest crop in the world, but I do try to pay close attention and I do my best," she revealed in an interview with US Weekly.
