"Jill and Jessa: Counting On," the spinoff to the controversial Duggar family TV show, "19 Kids and Counting" has failed to live up to the original show's ratings on TLC. As more advertisers pull out their ads from the show, a recent report suggests that this financial crisis has strained Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's marriage.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are reportedly headed for a divorce over their financial constraints because of Josh Duggar's scandals. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the new Duggar family show "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" is not doing so well in terms of ratings when compared to their first TV series, "19 Kids and Counting."
As In Touch magazine notes in its report, several companies are also pulling out their advertisements from the Duggar TV show. Gerber Life, Trivago, Hotwire and Thumbtack are joining the growing list of companies banning their advertisements from the "19 Kids and Counting" spinoff on TLC.
It is believed that it is only a matter of time before "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" gets canceled on TLC. Without advertisers, the show would not have enough money to go on, which means that the network is better off with pulling the plug on the show than completely lose all of its advertisers.
This has reportedly strained Jim Bob and Michelle's marriage. According to the aforementioned publication, the financial crisis has hit the couple so badly that they are already considering getting a divorce before the end of the year.
Jim Bob and Michelle are reportedly having a hard time making ends meet for them and their entire family. The Duggar family began struggling after Josh Duggar's scandals broke on the Internet and caused public outcry.
