Daario might still be able to reunite with his lady love, Daenerys, in "Game of Thrones." Michiel Huisman, who has been playing the character since Season 4, confirmed that he's still part of the upcoming season. However, he isn't revealing too much about what's going to happen to his character just yet.
In the last season of "Game of Thrones," Daenerys (played by Emilia Clarke) told Daario that he has to stay put in Meereen, while she sails off for Westeros. Daario had wanted to come with her and continue becoming her protector and adviser, but Daenerys believed he would be better off keeping the Meereen stronghold in order. "Game of Thrones" viewers thought this would be the last appearance for the character.
However, Michiel Huisman confirmed with Entertainment Tonight that his character is returning on "Game of Thrones" Season 7. He's still under contract with the show, but he's also not allowed to reveal anything else.
Whether this means Daario is going to be reunited with Daenerys remains to be seen. But the character might also be back on "Game of Thrones" to shoot his death scene next. Michiel Huisman said he's prepared for such a possibility. "Being part of Game of Thrones, you're always expecting your character to die," he told the news outlet.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reports that filming for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 has already started in Belfast. The actors have actually been reported in numerous sightings in this part of Ireland in the past weeks, as they prepare for the cameras to roll.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is also expected to film on location in Spain in the coming weeks. According to Metro, the crew might use Muriola Beach in Barrika Spain as a pivotal location. This site is supposed to depict Daenery's entry point in Westeros.
Though the details are unconfirmed, a confrontation between Daenerys and Cersei might soon be in the offing as well. In which case, Cersei should really watch her back in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. The series is expected to return on television in middle of 2017 with seven episodes
