'Marry Me' Star Casey Wilson Gives Birth to First Baby With David Caspe

Comedienne and television star Casey Wilson has finally given birth. The actress along with her husband, David Caspe, welcomed a bouncing baby boy after what she said was "rocky" pregnancy.

While pregnant with her baby, the star of "Marry Me" told Fit Pregnancy that she had a rough start during the first and early second trimester. "I felt tired and sick and in a fog, like an extreme hangover, until about week 16. I thought, surely, this is the worst part of parenting," she shared in the interview.

Back then, she wanted a baby girl but then she felt relieved when she was told by the doctors that she's carrying a boy in her womb. "Having lost my mom, and having had such a close mother-daughter relationship, I felt like somehow, I wasn't ready for a girl," said the actress, as published on US Magazine.

"It's simply not the experience of knowing your mom is going to come out for two months and help take care of the baby," she added. Casey lost her mother eight years ago. But true to her character as Penny on "Happy Endings," who believes in the ways of the Universe, the actress notes, "I felt like the universe is letting me try this out with a boy first."

Casey met David on the set of "Happy Endings" on ABC, as he was the show's writer and creator. This was back in 2011 and they started dating soon after. The show was eventually be canceled by the network after two seasons, but their relationship would remain strong.

In May 2014, after dating for three years, Casey and David married in California. Their engagement was the inspiration for a show David would soon create and write, with Casey in the starring role. However, "Marry Me" only lived to see through one season on NBC. She was already in the middle of her pregnancy when the series was canned which eventually bode well for the actress as she will have her hands full taking care of the new baby.

The couple does not plan on stopping with just one child as they want to have another baby in the future. "We both come from two-kid families and I can't imagine going through life without a sibling, especially later in life," the former SNL member said, as reported on Refinery.

They have not made any announcement as to what the baby's name is and fans of the couple are surely eager to see if the baby looks like his mom or dad.
