"Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 is soon to come back with more drama unfolding. NBC also provided viewers with its first synopsis for its premiere episode and the announcement of Anthony Edwards joining the cast.
While Anthony Edwards has not revealed his role for the upcoming "Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 but his presence will be like a reunion for Edwards and Mariska Hargitay who were also part of the longest running medical drama ER.
The two also had a special bond during the season 4 of ER since they were paired up at that time. Anthony Edwards will join "Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 as a guest star.
"Law & Order: SVU" is also known for having known celebrities as guest, so fans should not be surprise to find VP Joe Biden guesting as himself. Vice President Joe Biden, Henry Thomas and Kelli Williams will be on Season 18 "Law & Order: SVU."
The upcoming episode of "Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 will be titled "Terrorized" which will also mark the first time for the series to have a one liner title since Warren Leight left. Season 18 episode 1 will deal with a young boy found wandering alone in Central Park.
This lead for the team to search for his parents that also led them to an evidence of a mass casualty attack in the city. The SVU joins the anti-terrorism task force to find out the motives behind the possible attack.
Olivia Benson and her team together with the counter-terrorism squad search for answers while this will also lead to some tension between the Assistant District Attorney and the Manhattan SVU Lieutenant particularly with the boy and his family.
"Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 is set to premiere on September 21, Wednesday at 9:00 PM on NBC.
