Jennifer Love Hewitt Prepares for Second Baby, Tells Family 'Didn't Have a Nanny'

It's no secret that Hollywood stars have an army of assistants at their beck and call, but it's not the case for Jennifer Love Hewitt. The actress, who is currently pregnant with her second child with actor Brian Hallisay, is foregoing hiring a nanny, according to People Magazine.

From the beginning, the couple have been hands-on with their 18-month-old daughter, Autumn James. "We didn't have a night nurse, we didn't have a nanny," shares Jennifer to the news outlet. "It's been really interesting to do it all ourselves," the actress added and admitted that things haven't been smooth, as expected. To manage their responsibilities, she and Brian learned to prioritize.

"Everything before you have kids is oh-so important and then you have kids and you're like, 'That really doesn't mean anything. My kid is healthy, there's no sniffles, they're sleeping, life is good!' It really puts that into perspective," she said.

As proof of how she prioritizes things in her life, the star of "Criminal Minds" recently announced that she will leave the show after one season to focus on other stuff. One of these is in becoming the product endorser of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula products, a beauty line for expecting mothers, according to Breathecast.

Jennifer has already done a shoot for the brand, where she showcased her stretch-mark free baby belly. "After the success I had using Palmer's through my first pregnancy, I wanted to support the brand by baring my pregnant belly to celebrate the beauty of expectant mothers," the actress said during the shoot.

The company has been posting photos of Jennifer on their social media accounts, saying, "We're so excited to introduce Jennifer Love Hewitt as the new face of Palmer's Pregnancy Range! As a long time Palmer's fan, Jennifer is the perfect addition to the Palmer's family."

The actress also reveals that she loves the whole experience of being pregnant, describing the time as magical. "I'm grateful. It's not lost on me what a gift it is to be able to get pregnant," the star of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" disclosed via Beauty World News.

As for the gender of the upcoming baby, Jennifer and Brian have decided to wait until she gives birth. While she's betting on a boy, her husband thinks otherwise. "He's of the mindset that he's going to have all girls. That's what he's preparing for and he's very close with his mom and sister so he's fine with that," the second-time mom said.
