After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Rockruff will be having more than one evolution. This report was confirmed in the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine and aside from this, it was also reported that more Ultra Beasts will be seen in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."
World Wide Gaming reported that when Rockruff was revealed several months ago, fans of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" speculated that his evolution will be so much different than the other Pokemon monsters. According to CoroCoro, Rockruff's evolution outcome will depend on what time of the day it is in the game. Rockruff will reportedly have a wolf-like transformation in the morning but will transform into a bipedal werewolf-like form in the evening.
No other details were given about Rockruff aside from how the monster will look like in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."
CoroCoro then talked about the two new Ultra Beasts in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." These beasts, however, are not necessarily Pokemon monsters as they are classified as "UB-02" and "UB-03." They are called "Beauty" and "Expansion." Beauty is said to be an elegant creature that resembles Lusamine. For Expansion, it is said to be a muscular creature that has a mosquito-like face, iDigitalTimes reported.
It is believed that Ultra Beasts in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are some sort of human and Pokemon hybrids. Beauty is said to be exclusive only in "Pokemon Sun" while Expansion will be seen only in "Pokemon Moon."
In the past, the first Ultra Beast revealed is UB-01, which is a giant jellyfish creature. For "Pokemon Sun and Moon" more details are expected to be announced by September 14 this year.
It was also revealed by CoroCoro that the anime for "Pokemon" will be set in the Alolan region. Ash will reportedly go to the Alolan region to go to school. He also will look younger than in the current series.
