'Teen Mom OG' Star Maci Bookout & Taylor McKinney Welcome New Baby

"Teen Mom OG" star Maci Bookout and beau Taylor McKinney just welcomed their first child together, according to Hollywood Life. The happy couple welcomed a bouncing baby girl on May 29, and the two took to social media to announce the arrival of their firstborn child - Jayde Carter.

Bookout posted on Twitter on Friday, "Jayde made her grand entrance at 1:59pm today. She weighed 7lbs 15oz at birth. She is beautiful and as healthy as can be!" The newest addition to Bookout's family now joins her first child, Bentley, whom she had with her ex Ryan Edwards. Prior to taking part in the "Teen Mom" franchise, Bookout and then boyfriend, Edwards, were featured in another reality show, titled "16 and Pregnant."

The news of Jayde Carter's entry to the world also prompted joyous responses from Bookout's co-stars in "Teen Mom OG." Tyler Baltierra, who is the current boyfriend of Catelynn Lowell, sent out their greeting via Twitter. He wrote, "HUGE congratulations to my friends @MaciBookoutMTV & @tmon3yy on the arrival of their daughter Jayde! Me & @CatelynnLowell are so happy 4 u!"

The same thoughts were sent out via social media by "Teen Mom 2" alum Kail Lowry who posted, "Congratulations @MaciBookoutMTV & @tmon3yy!"

Meanwhile, the baby's name, Jayde Carter, has long been decided on by the then expecting couple. Bookout first revealed her second baby's name to E Online earlier this year. She said, "It's Jayde and her middle name is Carter." She added, "No more changes. We finally agree and really feel like this is the perfect fit."

Prior to the birth of Jayde Carter, her mom shared in the same E Online report the difference between this pregnancy and the one she went through with the now 6-year-old Bentley. She admitted, "It's a positive experience and I feel like I'm allowed to be happy and allowed to be excited."

She then went on to explain that her pregnancy with Bentley "was just negative" because she "wanted to hide from the world and not talk about it." This was primarily due to her age at that time - 16 years old - and the shame she felt when she got pregnant earlier than most of her friends. With her pregnancy with Jayde Carter, however, Bookout reveals that she was finally "able to enjoy it."

While there were differences between her two pregnancies in terms of the emotional ride, Bookout admitted that both have similarities as well. She shared, "I've been blessed with two very easy pregnancies thank goodness and not too bad of symptoms."
