‘Colossal’ Actor Jason Sudeikis Praises Fiancée Olivia Wilde’s Ability To Foster A ‘House Of Love And Respect’

Jason Sudeikis couldn't hide his admiration of fiancée Olivia Wilde's parenting skills. The "Colossal" actor said their two-year-old son Otis gets to learn a lot of important things from the actress' efforts.

Sudeikis believes that he's accomplishing parenting. That is because he picked the "right person" to do it with, according to the actor's interview with People at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he talked about his upcoming film "Colossal" alongside co-star Anne Hathaway, who's also a new mom.

"When I look at Olivia and the way that she pulls off all these things -- it's gonna be easy for him to grow up in a house of love and respect because I feel that way about his mom," Sudeikis further told People.

Sudeikis, 40, and Wilde, 32, announced via Instagram last April that they are expecting their second child. Wilde also revealed one of her pregnancy cravings via the social media site. On Aug. 29, the "Vinyl" actress posted a snapshot of a bag of Kettles Maple Bacon potato chips with the caption: "Hi I'm pregnant."

It was also in April when Wilde told People that she's "desperate" for more kids and "the more the merrier." Wilde said that she loves her siblings and Sudeikis has "incredible siblings" as well.

As for little Otis, Wilde believes that her young son is ready to be a big brother -- in a way. The boy "loves little babies" and is fond of carrying a Michael Jordan doll, which he uses as "either a hammer or a baby," the news outlet further reports.

Sudeikis and Wilde got engaged in January 2013, but the marriage ceremony of the two is yet to take place. Sudeikis joked in April that they won't get married "until weed is legal in every state," but insisted that their relationship is "good in many many ways," E! News confirms.

Wilde, on the other hand, told The Edit earlier this year that they are "seriously connected" and they don't need a paper contract to deeply commit to each other. As quoted by the news outlet, the actress added, "Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it's like, 'Oh, we're committed and promised already.'"

Sudeikis and Wilde met at the same after-party for a "Saturday Night Live" episode, according to E! News. Their romance progressed slowly, with Wilde recounting how Sudeikis didn't text her for a month after getting her number and didn't kiss her until their fourth date.
