'The Winds of Winter' Release Date: Book Pushed Back Still In The Works! Amazon France Takes Down Controversial 'TWOW' Placeholder

There is no doubt that the sixth book of George RR Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series is the most wanted book today. Everyone is waiting for "The Winds of Winter." Unfortunately, despite the different reports suggesting that the book is coming out, the editors claim that "The Winds of Winter" is still in the works.

The "ASOIAF" community went frenzy when Amazon France added a placeholder for "The Winds of Winter." The post listed March 9, 2017, as the potential release date. Many were delighted that at last, "The Winds of Winter" had a release date.

Unfortunately, to the dismay of many the controversial placeholder in Amazon France is fake, so is the ISBN, which is reportedly registered for "The Winds of Winter." According to Christian Daily, Amazon France already took down the launch date info after George RR Martin's publisher corrected the rumors.

According to George RR Martin's publisher, the book is still not done. George RR Martin is still writing the "Winds of Winter." Per Asiastarz, the publishers also confirmed that "The Winds of Winter" will be delayed but just for a few days.

This suggests that George RR Martin and the publishers have set a release date already. Otherwise, they can't say that the book is delayed if they don't have a target. "The Winds of Winter" is expected to arrive early next year, but there is no need for guessing.

Parent Herald reported that George RR Martin will announce the release of "The Winds of Winter" once the book is done. The celebrity author will not be dropping clues to decipher but will tell his readers directly when "TWOW" is ready.
