‘Battlefield 1’ News and Updates: EA Dice's Game Sets A New Record For EA’s Beta History With 13 Million Players During Beta Week

EA Dice's Battlefield 1 Beta play has been concluded last September 8. It was very successful that even EA Dice wouldn't expect that it will reach a 13 million attendance within the Beta week.

In a blog released by EA, the "Battlefield 1" Beta test has 13.2 million players over a week of beta test. EA claims that the "Battlefield 1" Open Beta marks the biggest Beta play in the history of Electronic Arts.

In their blog post, EA showed an infographic that contains information about the number of kills and achievements. Kills while riding the horse is on top of the list, with 62 million total kills while the most used class is the Assault, having 30% of the class usage.

According to Slash Gear, what makes the "Battlefield 1" beta stands out among other beta play is the horse riding feature. Another thing is that EA sends the "Battlefield 1" to an uncommon era which is the World War 1, compared to most FPS that are usually set up in World War 2 to the futuristic setting.

"Battlefield 1" Open Beta was even compared to Blizzard's Overwatch Beta Play. "Battlefield 1" can simply beat Overwatch when it comes to beta play attendees.

While "Battlefield 1" is waiting for its official release, "Battlefield 1" eventually receives a couple of commendations already. Praising its brilliant, realistic graphics, its gameplay, the dynamic weather system and its realistic weapon animations and details.

It is no doubt that EA would get a lot of sales once the "Battlefield 1" sets its foot on the market ground. It would be another milestone for EA as every game critics expect.

The "Battlefield 1" is set to release this coming October 21st. It will be available on the Playstation 4, XBox One and of course, in Microsoft Windows.
