Uh-oh! Royal couple Kate Middleton and Prince William have found themselves in a middle of a controversy again after a new report claimed they're really not good when it comes to parenting. In fact, royal insiders revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have raised their firstborn, Prince George, as a bratty little royal.
Even though Kate Middleton and Prince William are no strangers to be the target of malicious controversies, being slammed for their parenting skills seemed to be a low blow. Based on a Globe and Mail report (via Celeb Dirty Laundry), however, royal staffers are on the verge of giving up due to Prince George's attitude in which he was dubbed as a "royal terror" and a "tiny tyrant."
In spite of the fact that Prince George seemed to display the makings of a ruler as he is third in line to the throne, Kate Middleton and Prince William's son is far from being the adorable toddler people often seen in photos and royal gatherings. An insider was even quoted saying the little prince was a "nightmare."
Meanwhile, the recent criticisms on the parenting skills of Kate Middleton and Prince William came a week before their scheduled trip to Canada from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1. According to Daily Mirror, royal heir and heiress Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be joining their parents on the official royal Canada tour but will be based at the Government House in Victoria, British Columbia with royal nanny Maria Borallo.
Kate Middleton and Prince William, on the other hand, are set to fulfill 30 royal engagements, including a visit to the Immigration Services Society to meet the Syrian refugees. Forbes also noted that the British royal family is set to take Canada by storm sans the tiaras and ballgowns. Instead, the trip will be suffused of outdoor events such as fishing, a canoe ride and a trip to the Great Bear rainforest.
In other royal-related news, Kate Middleton has been voted as the most influential style icon in the United Kingdom. Even though she's not a Fashion Front Row (FROW) regular at London Fashion Week, a research revealed that 29 percent of women aspire to dress like Duchess Kate, making her as one of Britain's immensely influential female fashionistas, Daily Mail reports.
As a matter of fact, Kate Middleton's trademark mix of style and reserve is a huge hit. Following the Duchess of Cambridge on the list are "Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson, singer-actress Rita Ora, "Love Me Like You Do" songstress Ellie Goulding and blogger Zoella.
