'Heroes of the Storm' News and Updates: New Characters and Freebies Are Made Available For a Limited Time

Gamers are thrilled after it was announced that there is a huge possibility that they can potentially get a free hero or 4,000 gold for the "Machines of War" kick off by "Heroes of the Storm. " It was announced that they can avail of the perks once the patch is already downloaded, thus players need to be keen in checking on the possible perks that they could avail upon downloading.

Game Spot announced that gamers would need to log-in to "Heroes of the Storm" for them to be able to avail of the free hero. It was then mentioned that on top if the free heroes that gamers would get to avail, they will also get to choose as to which character they would claim.

"Heroes of the Storm" gamers will get a chance to choose between Anub'arak, Thrall, or Tyrande. It was then mentioned that if you're already using them, they can be replaced with by Gazeebo, Sonya, or Uther. It seems that the creator of the "Heroes of the Storm" is into freebies as it was mentioned that if the player has already completed the characters, they will be able to concert their free character into 4,000 worth of Gold.

Alarak from Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void" is now available for purchase in the online shop. Alarak is said to be a map which gives the "Heroes of the Storm" player the mission to capture two beacons. They will be appearing in the map's center every now and then, so "Heroes of the Storm" players have to be on the lookout for these beacons.

It was then revealed that the moment the team would take control of the beacon on a long period of time, they will be able to fill their holding cells with Zerg, where they can eventually be released to attack the enemy.

Several "Heroes of the Storm" bundles are also made available in the shop. Though the bundles may be available, it will only be there for a limited time period. The "Heroes of the Storm" bundles would only be available until October 18 thus gamers should avail of the promo as while they still can.
