Good news for racing games fan out there, Ubisoft is giving away the highly anticipated racing game online, "The Crew." Ubisoft's racing game is now out for free, but for just a limited time.
Players can get "The Crew" on Ubisoft's website or by going directly to Uplay. You need an account in Uplay, download the game and it will be all yours permanently.
According to Gamespot, as part of Ubisoft's 30th Anniversary Celebration, Ubisoft is giving away free games every month since June. Players have the chance to get "The Crew" until October and a new free will be launched to replace "The Crew."
"The Crew" is considered to be the top open-world online racing game as of today. It features a huge map divided into 5 regions. The Crew's gameplay is similar to the infamous Need For Speed, where players can do a free-roam on the whole map, can complete a variety of single player missions. "The Crew" also features a multiplayer race up to 8 players, in-game pause are not allowed during multiplayer mode. Car modification is also featured in the game where players can also build their cars using smartphones via mobile app.
According to Econotimes, The Crew's regular retail price is $29.99 and will be available for free until October. Ubisoft also announced an upcoming expansion for "The Crew" called Calling All Units. The expansion will have an additional 12 new missions and new car models.
In addition, Ubisoft already launched a free access other games during the past months. The games included are Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Splinter Cell and Rayman Origins.
Ubisoft is expected to offer more games until December due the said 30th Year Anniversary Celebration. Ubisoft is known to produce triple A games in the likes of Splinter Cell series and Assassin's Cree series.
