J.R. Smith has hit the free agency market this offseason along with LeBron James. However, the King has already re-signed with Cleveland Cavaliers while Smith remains in the free market. Reports have it that Cavs and Smith are still working on a deal but more likely Smith will re-sign.

According to Cleveland.com, Smith and his agent Rich Paul have never confirmed about the figure that they are demanding to Cavs. However, the deal dispute is more of the length of the contract. Cleveland Cavaliers want a shorter deal.
Per the report, Cavs have already given into J.R. Smith's demand. The team offered the player a $10 million contract with a player's option for the second season of the 2015-16 campaign after Smith declined the $6.4 million contract. Unfortunately, Smith failed to generate great deals on the open market.
