Paris Jackson 2016 [LATEST NEWS UPDATES]: Why Michael Jackson’s Daughter Committed Suicide At 14, Cyberbullying Blamed?

Four years after her suicide attempt, Paris Jackson finally broke her silence over the suicide attempt that almost took her life at the young age of 14. In a poignant video shared on social media, Michael Jackson's daughter explained how cyberbullying played a role in her suicide attempt.

At 18, Paris Jackson is no longer the vulnerable daughter of Michael Jackson whose life became an easy target of controversies and criticisms. While the King of Pop's daughter still has several detractors, Paris has emerged much stronger compared to the younger version of herself.

Following her emotional video about her suicide attempt four years ago and cyberbullying, Paris Jackson discovered her inner peace after she got another tattoo over the weekend. According to Daily Mail, Paris got a John Lennon-inspired tattoo and quoted the line "imagine all the people living life in peace" from the singer's hit song, "Imagine," when she shared an image of her tattoo on Snapchat.

Paris Jackson's tattoo came after she took to social media and described how cyberbullying had impacted her life, which even resulted to a suicide attempt when she 14. As E! News quoted, Paris tearfully admitted that she can't understand why there's too much hate in the world.

Paris Jackson also questioned why she became an easy target in spite of being nice to almost every person she meets. She pointed out that the spiteful online abuse she'd experienced took a toll on her life that led her to a suicide attempt four years ago.

In her emotional video, Paris Jackson also pointed out how celebrities or their children are treated on social media. She even claimed the "fanaticism" of the online realm to the privacy of the celebrities has been worsened by social media, The Independent noted.

Unfortunately, Paris Jackson is not the only celebrity or celebrity offspring that has been a target of extreme social media ridicule. As a matter of fact, Paris took the liberty to defend Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Sofia Richie, who was recently slammed by online bullies and even told to kill herself, Yahoo! Celebrity reported.

Paris Jackson later concluded her rant by saying she's been dubbed as a villain after defending herself. Meanwhile, Paris recently had a photo shoot with boyfriend Michael Snoddy and according to photographer Troy Jensen, the young couple "couldn't keep their hands off each other," as per Entertainment Tonight.

The 18-year-old and only daughter of the late Michael Jackson and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe has more than one million Twitter followers and almost 800,000 Instagram fans. But it remains uncertain what ignited Paris Jackson's emotional rant on cyberbullying.
