The Duggars News: TLC Cancelling 'Counting On?' Because Viewers And Advertisers Are NOT Supportive? Familly Bidding Goodbye To Reality Show?

The Duggars graced the small screens for over five years with their reality show "19 Kids and Counting." The family gained critics and supporters for their Christian living and conservative values. However, due to Josh Duggar's molestation scandal the family's credibility dropped and they are struggling to maintain what's left of them.

TLC canceled "19 Kids and Counting" after Josh Duggar publicly apologized for his misdemeanor. However, prior to this, thousands of fans and advertisers had already pulled out from the show. Some viewers even threatened the network that they will not watch the shows on TLC as long as the Duggars are there.

So, TLC canceled the show. However, the family has solid supporters. So, the network embraced the family again with the "19 Kids and Counting" spinoff "Jill & Jessa: Counting On."

Parent Herald previously reported that TLC is exploiting the Duggars and the morality issues that Josh Duggar did. As long as the controversial family has supporters and the network can get money from them, they just covered their inconsistencies by not showing Josh Duggar in the show.

But fans and the advertisers are not taking the Duggars shortcomings lightly. According to InTouch Weekly, more advertisers are turning their back from Duggar's "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." Four big companies issued statements that they don't support the show and that their ads that were aired during the show were "ran in error."

A rep from Big Lots stated that they won't be advertising on TLC again while Aaron's Inc. said that they won't advertise in "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." Aside from this, almost a million viewers have already stopped watching the reality show.

Due to this report, many believe that the Duggars will be bidding goodbye from the small screens soon. Their fans are following them because of their Christian values but Josh Duggar's scandal is a huge turn-off as it only shows that the family is living in hypocrisy.

Does this mean that "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" will not be renewed for another season or will TLC renew it again to air Jinger and Jeremy's wedding? Do you support the Duggar's return or is it better for the family to exit from the limelight? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
