Brad Pitt only knew of the divorce only a day after he and Angelina Jolie got back from Europe. The divorce of the year does not have any plan of leaving the online world, either.
Brad Pitt's appeals to his wife "Salt" actress Angelina Jolie were rendered useless after the later still filed for divorce recently. "Brad didn't want it to happen, he still loves Angelina and wanted to work it out," said a source as quoted by Page Six.
The source also said that what led to their divorce was their fighting. "Brad never talked about leaving Angie. He was committed to her and the kids and wanted to save the marriage," said a source to Hollywood Life.
The divorce came as a shock to the entertainment industry as well as to everyone else because their marriage was ideal and iconic. Reasons behind the divorce is still unknown but others say it was either because of a third party, Brad Pitt's rumoured substance abuse or the "World War Z" actor's parenting style.
Marion Cotillard was the supposed third party, as she was starring with Brad Pitt in the film "Allied." "Yes, he smokes some weed and has a drink, but that isn't out of control. The truth is that they've been fighting a lot," the source said.
The source also said that Angelina Jolie's team were very fast in very fast in spreading bad things about Brad Pitt. The "Maleficent" actress wants physical custody of their six children, Knox, Vivienne, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax and Maddox and for her husband to only have visitation rights. But Brad Pitt will not accept sole custody, as People reported.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been together for 12 years. The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" actors only wed in 2014 in France.
