When Niantic released "Pokemon Go" the whole world went gaga over it. Supercell's "Clash of Clans," which used to dominate the mobile game industry took the back seat. However, according to reports Supercell is back on track because "Clash Royale" just kicked off "Pokemon Go" in the top chart and more importantly, a huge update is coming. Reports have it that TH12 is on the way.
A popular "Clash of Clans" tipster announced that Supercell will be releasing sneak peeks this week for their "CoC" September update. At the same time, the developers will probably announce the release date of the anticipated update.
Meanwhile, while waiting for the next "Clash of Clans" patch, there are rumors that TH12 is coming up. Per iTechPost, Supercell might introduce another level, the anticipated Town Hall 12 or TH12.
Per the report, there are rumors that Supercell announced this at the ClashCon. However, Parent Herald previously reported that Supercell canceled the event. Thus, even if some Clashers are dying to see TH12, you should still take this report with a grain of salt.
Meanwhile, Supercell has bounced back from being doomed after "Pokemon Go" dominated the mobile game industry for a short while. Per Touch Arcade, Supercell's game held the top grossing spot in the US App Store.
Niantic's "Pokemon Go" held the said spot for 74 days. It did not match Supercell's "Clash of Clans" who dominated the chart for over a year. "CoC" tops for 374 days.
"Clash of Clans" didn't actually dethroned "Pokemon Go," it was Supercell's other game, "Clash Royale." Per the report, among the reasons "Clash Royale" catapulted to the top grossing spot was the latest content update that Supercell released. The team muted the emotes that most players find irritating. Furthermore, they added new chests, new cards and new ways for players to spend their money on the game.
