Scarlett Johansson had breathtaking and extraordinary movies. Millions have watched those except for her daughter. "Ghost in the Shell" star Johansson shares that of all the films she has ever made, this new one is the only movie that her daughter, Rose, can actually watch in her upcoming animated movie, "Sing."
"Sing" is an animated musical that Johansson co-stars as a punk rock porcupine backup singer. On her role, Johansson said in an interview with ENews: "I'm really playing a girl who is kind of struggling to find her voice, both literally and figuratively." She continues, "You know, she's growing up. She's learning how to be the best version of herself."
In the same interview, the interviewer asked Johansson if her daughter knows that her mom is a singing porcupine, the actress answered: "I imagine everything in her mind is a little bit sort of trippy to begin with, so I think just seeing my voice coming out of a porcupine like that, especially a punk rock porcupine, it might be a little overwhelming for her." Scar Jo continues, "This may be the only movie I've ever made that she can see, though."
About being a mom to daughter Rose Dorothy, Scar Jo calls it exhausting in the most wonderful way, according to People. "I still lack experience. Right now I'm just trying to manage," she admitted.
She also admitted to news.com.au that she's "such a newbie" in parenting Rose Dorothy, her first daughter to husband Romain Dauriac. She continued, "We'll see, but I think having any kind of huge life-changing event happen to you, such as having children, and it's such a different life now in the best possible way, is very, very inspiring,".
Johansson opens up via People about being a celebrity mom. She said, "It's hard. On the one hand, you don't want to isolate your kids, but you don't want to make your kids feel like freaks: There's this fascination with famous kids, like they're celebrity spawn." She adds, "Part of being with your kids is making them feel as safe and normal as you can."
Besides her upcoming movie "Sing," Johansson is also starred in the next year movie "Ghost in the Shell," an adaptation of the Japanese anime and manga of the same name. She actually takes the lead star as a cyborg - human special - ops officer named Major.
