NBA Trade Rumors: Cleveland Cavaliers NOT Ready For The New Season; LeBron James Busy Developing TV Shows?

Many are expecting that Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will be facing against each other in the NBA finals for the third time. However, will Cavs make it to the finals when they are too distracted?

Golden State Warriors are determined to win the NBA title this time by upgrading their roster. The team just signed Kevin Durant in addition to its power trio Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

With Kevin Durant's addition to the Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers chances of winning a back-to-back NBA title are slim. What makes this worse is that Cavs are plagued with too many issues while LeBron James is occupied with developing TV shows.

Parent Herald previously reported that Cleveland Cavaliers have dealt with a number of distractions this NBA season. First, their shooting guard Iman Shumpert is facing an alleged DUI charges. Second, their point guard Kyrie Irving is romantically linked to "Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift.

While Cavs fans are calling the team to focus, it seems that things are getting messier with Cleveland Cavaliers. Their team captain, LeBron James is reportedly occupied with developing TV shows.

According to Newsweek, LeBron James is spending the NBA offseason by developing TV shows. James is reportedly prepping for a medical drama for NBC. The said show will reportedly revolve around a doctor who treats athletes.

Meanwhile, A.V. Club reported that LeBron James is also working with Ron Funches for a sitcom about gentrification. This show will reportedly focus on the first white family who moved in a predominantly black neighborhood in Cleveland.

LeBron James is definitely enjoying his new passion in developing TV show. However, many are concerned that this could affect the Cavs preparation for the upcoming NBA season.

Cleveland Cavaliers is the current NBA champion but they lack the determination to bag another NBA title. Everyone seems distracted and their roster is still not final. In fact, they are still working on re-signing J.R. Smith.

Will these distractions affect Cleveland Cavaliers performance in the forthcoming NBA season ? If this continues, will Cavs even get into the finals? Should Cavs focus more and train harder especially that Kevin Durant is already with Golden State Warriors? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
