Actress Evan Rachel Wood is going to be a mom. The mom-to-be announced expecting her first child with husband Jamie Bell on Twitter.
"Remember when I said, 'No baby on the way here' - Well, I didnt know there actually was!" she tweeted Jan. 11, after posting a photo of the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting."
Close friends and well-wishers of the celebrity star expressed their support and happiness over the new addition to the family.
"I couldn't be more happy right now to become an uncle! BEYOND EXCITED!! Now how to contain it for 6 moths?" British theatre producer Jamie Forshaw, tweeted.
The expecting actress later thanked her fans and well-wishers.
"Thanks for all your warm wishes. We are very happy. I'm gonna be a mama!" she wrote.
Wood, who entered the acting world through a series of television series, shot to fame after appearing in the film "Thirteen." Wood started dating British actor Bell during the shooting of music video "Wake Me Up When September Ends" in 2005. However, the relationship lasted only one year. Later, Wood became engaged to American rock musician Marilyn Manson. The couple split in 2010. After her split with Manson, Wood re-united with Bell in 2011 and tied the knot in Oct. 2012.
Speculations about Wood expecting her first child started circulating in November. However, she denied the news on Twitter.
"Sorry to disappoint. But no baby on the way here!" Wood wrote Nov.19.
