Who would have thought that 32-year-old singer Carrie Underwood just gave birth three months ago? With an enviably toned body, Underwood showed off her fit self during the 2015 CMT Awards on Wednesday night, as stated by InTouch Weekly. She gave birth to her firstborn child Isaiah with husband, Ottawa Senators hockey player, Mike Fisher.
Prior to this pleasant revelation, the new mom also posted a pic of herself rehearsing for the said award show on Instagram. "Rehearsals for the #CMTAwards I can't wait!" captions the celebrity mom, who wore a white top and fitted black skirt in the photo.
It is indeed a challenge for a number of new mothers to deal with the so-called stubborn baby weight. But apparently, this is not a problem for the country singer since she appears to be physically fit. One can only wonder what she has been doing to achieve this?
As reported by E! Online, the Grammy-winning country singer has launched a fitness apparel line called CALIA early this June. This is not a surprise since she seems to be the type of woman and mom who tries to stay healthy and fashionable at the same time. This is on top of having won and getting nominated for the Grammy and Country Music Awards consistently.
According to a WebMD Magazine feature, the singer is very conscious when it comes to healthy living. With some choice food, she likes to drink plenty of water, especially during road tours and concerts.
"In our catering area we have this huge table of supplements for people -- little things like vitamin C, echinacea, stuff like that, because if one person gets a cold, everybody's getting a cold," she says.
It was also stated that she hits the gym as much as possible. "If I can wake up and I go get a good cardio session in," she says, "a class at a gym nearby, or me on the treadmill, I'm happier throughout the day."
No wonder she doesn't have a lot of trouble in the post-baby weight department. With enough interest to follow a healthy food and vitamin supplement regimen, along with exercise, Carrie Underwood really made it possible to be stage-ready just a couple of months after childbirth. Perhaps the secret to this is that it is not a secret at all. Healthy living and good choices for activities go a long way indeed.
