"Once Upon A Time" has finally returned to the small screen on Sunday and it was full of surprises as aside from the Evil Queen being unleashed after departing from Regina, Emma might have been killed. Former characters from the past season of "Once Upon A Time" were also featured on the Season 6 premiere.
Entertainment Weekly recently talked with the executive producers of "Once Upon A Time," Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, and they explained more about the death of Emma. In the "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 premiere, a premonition was shown showing Emma being killed by a hooded figure by plunging a sword deep into her chest. This will end her life for good and no one will be able to save her.
Kitsis and Horowitz shared that they are to explore the possibility that Emma will be killed. Horowitz noted, "I'd also add the show remains a show about hope, so our characters are going to fight for that hope, and to see if that is a fate that is immovable." Kitsis said that they wanted to get into Emma's head that is why the premonition was featured.
Emma will reportedly be affected by the premonition but the executive producers won't say if she is to keep this secret from her family and if it will affect her relationship with the people she loves.
"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 started from where Season 5 ended. Hook and the team returned from the Land of Untold Stories and Dr. Jekyll was with them. Regina then used the serum of Dr. Jekyll to split herself from the Evil Queen.
More Saviors might be introduced on "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 and Hyde might provide information about these other Saviors. Accordingly, he will be able to explain soon how he knows these Saviors.
The Celebrity Café also reported that many characters from the previous seasons of "Once Upon A Time" were seen in the premiere of Season 6. Dr. Archie and Cinderella were seen coming back. Other characters who are yet to be seen are Aladdin, Jasmine, and Jafar as well as those from the Land of Untold Stories.
"Once Upon A Time" Season 6 airs Sundays on ABC at 8:00 P.M.
